Our sizing is similar to European sizing though unique to our brand. Each full size (37,38,etc) will have a small range of fit (see chart below). Your Pelagos should fit snug on your heel and toe. The nature of the leather will allow for a personalized fit as the shoes form to your feet.

OUR FIT

Your Pelagos should be snug on your toes and heels as the leather will form to the unique shape of your feet.

If you find the heel cup to be a bit stiff at first, we suggest wearing them around your home while they adjust.

LEATHER CARE

Avoid wearing your Pelagos in water or in other extreme conditions. If your Pelagos do get wet, let them dry naturally (no direct heat) and avoid wearing them while wet as this can deform their shape. Once dry, water stains can often be remedied by using a leather conditioner to even out the colour.

Periodically applying a leather conditioner will help maintain the texture and beauty of the shoe and over time your Pelagos will gain a lovely patina, enhancing their character. Visit your local cobbler to find the right conditioner for your shoes.

CARING FOR YOUR SOLES

Using your Pelagos for activities like hiking and soccer may impact the longevity and adhesion of the crepe rubber sole, though Pelagos are well designed for bocce and cocktail parties. In the rare case of your Pelago soles becoming damaged, they can easily be repaired – another great reason to get to know your local cobbler.
